This is ideal if you are someone looking to gain international work experience, while immersing yourself in a foreign culture. If you are considering a teaching career, wanting an independent yet supported international experience, or perhaps a second experience abroad as a Lattitude alumnus, this programme is a great fit for you!

South Korea
South Korea is the perfect programme for you if you want a 12-month experience teaching and travelling in a vibrant and fascinating destination. You will have the option to attend a 4-week TESOL course in Incheon, specifically tailored to life and work in South Korea. As a paid teacher, you will earn approximately $1700-$1900 USD per month and receive free furnished accommodation, airfare reimbursement, paid holidays, and health insurance coverage. All together this will enable you live comfortably and save enough to travel during your time off! Teaching contracts in South Korea are for a minimum of 12 months but are renewable if you wish to extend further.
Thailand
Teach English in Thailand for 1 semester (4 to 5 months), for a year, or longer to give yourself a truly unique experience. You will earn a salary of approximately $950-$1300 USD a month, which goes a long way in a country with a low cost of living. You will have ample holiday time and weekends off to travel and explore all that amazing Thailand has to offer. You have the option of attending the 4-week TEFL/TESOL course in Hua Hin to prepare you for your teaching experience.
Costa Rica
As an English Teacher in Costa Rica, you will most likely be working with young adults in a private language centre and will earn about $700-$1000 USD per month while working 20-30 hours per week. Your flexible schedule will allow you to explore all the natural beauty of Costa Rica including the national parks, beaches along both the Pacific and Atlantic coastlines, and more. You can earn your TEFL/TESOL certificate at the course offered in Palmares. This will give you an orientation to the Costa Rican culture and school environment while giving you 16 hours of practical teaching experience in a local classroom. Teaching in Costa Rica also offers you the opportunity to learn Spanish as you will have 6 hours of language lessons included and ample opportunity to practice. Teaching contracts are a minimum of 12 months and are renewable.
Vietnam
Japan
Japan is an extraordinary destination rich in culture, history, and natural beauty. Here is your opportunity to spend 1 year or more immersing yourself in everything Japan has to offer. Teaching English in Japan will have you earning $2000 to $2500 USD per month, and you will enjoy 5 – 10 paid vacation days, which will allow you to save extra funds for your travels. Minimum teaching contracts in Japan are for 12 months but can be extended. You will have the option to attend a 120-hour TEFL/TESOL course in Japan which will give you the opportunity to gain 20 hours of practical teaching experience at a local Japanese school. This will set you up to go into your teaching experience with confidence.
