Lattitude Is Going Global…Online

Posted on the 17th June 2020

Lattitude Global Volunteering has always been a global non-profit organisation, with volunteer programmes in exciting destinations around the world, and a global team dedicated to supporting volunteers from around the world in their international experience. But now we are taking our approach a step further and making our online presence global too!

Over the last while, Lattitude has had multiple presences online, with websites and social media profiles managed by team members in our main volunteer sending countries – the UK, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. We are now moving our content, both on our websites and our social channels, to one merged and united global platform. What this means is bigger, better, and more diverse content to share with you from around the world. You will be able to connect easier, see more from our volunteers, staff, and programmes around the world, and join us as we support young people on their journeys around the globe. No matter where you are in the world, you will more easily find the information and inspiration you need to get your own gap year started.

What’s Happened So Far?

Lattitude Volunteering on Facebook

On May 27th, we merged our Facebook pages into one global page! You may notice that some of our older posts on this page @lattitudevolunteering may appear to be from a specific region and some posts direct you to posts on our New Zealand website. Don’t worry, you are indeed in the right place! Our posts moving forward will reflect our global perspective, so no matter where you are in the world, this page will be relevant to you.

Please make sure to Like our Facebook page and join us for what’s ahead.

What’s Ahead?

Lattitude Volunteering on Instagram

In time we will be merging our Instagram pages into one global page. Our regional accounts still exist and you’ll continue to find us there in the short term. But we’re moving our content over to our global page now and eventually the regional profiles will be deleted. In order to keep up with what we’re doing, you’ll need to follow our new page @lattitudevolunteering. Trust us, it’s worth it!

Please make sure to follow our global Instagram page to see the most recent content

And we also suggest you follow our hashtag #lattitudevolunteering. We encourage our volunteers and alumni to use this hashtag on their own posts about their Lattitude experiences. Following along will allow you to see some truly authentic posts from around the world.

Website

Lattitude’s four regional pages from the UK, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia have all been combined into one website here at www.lattitude.org. This means that no matter where you are in the world, there is one website that will provide all of the information, our application form, and next steps for getting your gap year journey started.

If you start your journey online via one of our regional pages, you will be re-directed. You can find us directly now at www.lattitude.org
